The park is very nice, clean and the sites were leveled. Despite being an older RV Park, the new management is taking really well care of it. Very friendly and fast check-in. The bathrooms and laundry room were spotless. There are several long-term residents but everyone was clean and orderly. They are dog friendly and had doggy poop bags near the grassy areas. I would definitely come back here if we were passing though the area.

November 2019.We stayed here for one night in a medium sized RV . Very reasonably priced, very flat and excellent facilities . We arrived fairly late and Jonathon, the host, was very welcoming and friendly . I'd recommend this place.

Fantastic campground! Our family was super happy with our stay. Staff was very accommodating. The park was clean and quiet. Laundry facilities were clean. Easy to get in and out of in our 40' RV. We can't wait to come back!

Although the general location is a little dry and basic out here, I'm giving this RV park 5 stars based on the customer service we received from Johnathan who manages the park. The toilets were clean, laundry machines easy to use and every time we had a question Johnathan was present regardless of the time of day. Also not a bad location in terms of accessing trail hikes in the lower half of Sequoia national park and it's very near the Kern River if you like rafting. Thanks for the comfortable stay!

What a nice place. Quiet surroundings, and close to the lake and shopping. Staff is attentive, and caring. Certainly a must stop on our way through Kern River Valley.

Absolutely wonderful! Very hiker friendly with BBQ and large fire pit. The woman and her daughter are very welcoming, even letting two PCT hikers who hadn't showered get a ride to the market! Will absolutely stay here again!!

Wonderful staff and location! Showers and laundry for hour hang out for 7.5$ a person and 15$ for all amenities including laundry (clean laundry room), clean bathroom/shower facility, communal hang out room chairs, hiker box (extra sleeping pads /camping gear), and patio (including fire pit), hiker friendly and also lovely for a fanily get away as well!! Would highly recommend for anyone coming through the area:)

We called right before we arrived and were happy to hear, that this Park got special rates for hikers and bikers. 10$ per Person/ per Night is totally reasonable for the amenities offered here. The bathrooms and the laundry room have been clean and we felt comfortable right from the beginning. If you got any questions regarding the area and specifically what the city of Lake Isabella has to offer, just ask the owner, she helped us a lot!

We spent 2 months here in the Fall of 2016 and we are back now for a month this year. This is very easily one of our top 5 places to stay! Each of our Top 5 are very different from one another, so it is impossible to refine them any closer. Haven is a small family owned operation and they do a wonderful job maintaining the large park size grassy area, the restrooms and the laundry. We love this park and will continue to stay here on a regular basis, especially now that we have become full time RVers. This is definitely going to be one of our 'home base' parks from now on. It is in a small town, but there are 2 large chain grocery stores and several Mom and Pop ones as well. The fishing at the lake is usually pretty good, and lots of hiking nearby. This park is far superior to the other private campgrounds (name brand ones included) in the area. There are a number of decent Federal campgrounds, but that would be like comparing apples to oranges. That is an entirely different sort of camping.

I stayed at this campground for 2 weeks with my husband and dog in a 33-foot RV. Our favorite thing here was the consistent, fast, and free WiFi since we both work remotely. It's mostly long-term residents here with just a few campers coming and going. But the staff is nice and helpful. It was great to be able to have some Amazon packages delivered here - the UPS/FedEx trucks come right up to your site - so convenient. There's a horseshoe pit that was fun and a TV/game room that we didn't use. Overall it's quiet and people mostly keep to themselves, which is nice. Also, the laundry machines are new, clean and work great. There's only 2 washers and 2 dryers, but it doesn't seem to get very busy so it worked out fine. Not a whole lot to do in the area, but it's a convenient home base for taking day trips elsewhere. I would stay here again if in the area.

They let PCT hikers camp in a nice shady area for 5$/night. This included a shower and there was access to laundry (aboit 2$ per load). There were also dryers available but you can use the clothing line for free. There is a community room with a/c, free WiFi and access to grills.
