I moved in here because the lot rent was reasonable but new owners bought the place and the rent keeps going up, now we have to lay for water and sewer, which by the way, the sewer keeps backing up and both the Park and Boynton Beach Sewer Dept won't claim responsibility for it. The price for a plumber, e very time they came out to unclog is $350.00 plus service call. $2,000.00 later and no remedy from the people I'm paying to live here, there's got to be a solution besides getting out of here. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice place to call home but not anymore. This is a 55+ community and everyone here is on a fixed income, retired or forced to work just live here.

We moved here in March 2012 because we liked the location, the lot rent was reasonable ($607/month which included all yard care, cable TV, the sprinkler system, water & sewer and trash collection) the area looked nice and was well maintained. At that time, the owner said the monthly rent would not exceed the percentage increases of Social Security increases. That owner sold the property and the new owners are often difficult to deal with, do not maintain the propriety as well as it was maintained under the old owner and management plus the rent goes up a lot more than inflation or COLA on Social Security every year ($822.73/month as of April 2020 and no longer includes water & sewer and trash collection which are billed separately by the City of Boynton Beach.) They seem to not know or care that this is a retirement community made up of people over 55 who primarily depend on Social Security as a major part of their income. We have the best neighbors ever but we are all upset over the eroding condition of the property maintenance and the ever increasing rents. If it keeps up, pretty soon it will be just another overpriced trailer park. Sad but true.

Nice renovations in the lobby area and ballroom but the air conditioning is never on. Being in there today the air was left off . It hit a whopping 107 degrees in side no windiws no ventilation . I find that for months everytime I go into these particular areas to use the wi fi etc and try to enjoy these areas during the day I cannot stay in there as the air conditioning is always left off. Its been like that for 6 months. Now that the summer is getting so extreamly hot it makes it unbearable. When requesting it on the temp. is still so high with no windows or ventilation its extreamly uncomfortable and hot . After ten minutes or so it retreats back up to 80+ degrees and trurns off again. It would be nice to actually have the air on so the lobby can be enjoyed and used and one can stay healthy as well as the ballroom.

This community was a really nice place to call home with low lot rent when it was family owned. This community was sold to Carlyle Group about 2 years ago and the place now looks shady. I contacted the management office and spoke to a lady, she said she;s the manager. My first question was how much is the rental properties, I was told that for a standard lot is $740.00 per month plus $125.59 monthly for taxes, so the total monthly payment is $865.59 per month. Are you for real? Who in their right mind is going to pay $865.59 for a trailer in a trailer park that's falling apart. Yeah don't get me wrong, the clubhouse area looks stupendous but the homes look like trailer and are trailers. For this amount of money, I can find myself a two bedroom condo in a 55+ community and don't pay that much in HOA Fees, and I have a solid structure when hurricane season is here, compared to living here and then having my trailer blown to pieces.Sorry this is not for me, I want feel good about the place i live and show my friends and family, but in the long run I would feel embarased to say that I live in a high paying rental trailer park.
