It's hard to rate actually. We love our lot. Love our dock and green space. Love the lake and the surrounding area. It's beautiful. It's our get away place. What we are coming to REALLY dislike is the "Old Guard" here who are growing increasingly rude, abrasive, intolerant, aggressive, demeaning, and just all around making it so I avoid completely the community beach and play areas and my grandsons now only play in the water by our dock. We enjoy being social but not with people like them. I am horribly uncomfortable being there when my husband is gone. They watch you constantly, round up the golf carts (typically 2 or 3 to a herd) to drive by to check out what exactly you are doing, and generally give you the impression they are trying to make you so miserable you will leave. We won't be bullied and forced out simply because we are a bit newer to the park. The new families this year seem to be so friendly and are actually improving their properties! They are enjoying it like we do! We love seeing that as some places were in terribly shape and looked a sloppy mess when we purchased our place. It's our hope that this rudeness comes to an end soon. We plan to keep to ourselves from now on, will not be involved any longer in the "community" events, and we want to be left alone!! That's it. Leave us alone and let us enjoy our space and this beautiful lake. If you cannot stand up to micromanagement, run fast from this place. Fortunately, we will stand up for what is right and will not let bullies run us off. We come here often and have a great time in spite of them. And to me, that's the best way to deal with it!
