Visited my brother and sister in law for two weeks in February. Trails End RV Park is a lovely spot in Weslaco Texas - the great Rio Grande Valley. The weather was perfect, the park activities endless. Their friday afternoon happy hour is attended by nearly 200 people. The park is not the shiniest or newest but the people make it the best. I really enjoyed my visit.

Absolutely wonderful. Park residents are very friendly and are so helpful in helping us get acquainted with all the amenities of our park. Management has been so helpful getting us setup and making us feel very welcome.

We have good friends who live in this park. It is a clean and freindly park with lots of amenities in public club house space. Craft and game rooms, meeting hall for fundraiser meals, jams and concerts are just some of the special things about this senior 55+ community. They also have an extensive recycling program that keeps a lot of reusable stuff out of the landfill.

We recently had an opportunity to spend some time in the park, however on the day after arrival i ended up in hospital, so we only ended up staying a few days in the park recovering and then had to high tail it back to canada. When I was released from hospital I came back to the camper to find a Get Well card at my door, completely full with signatures inside! From people we never even met! I can't tell you how touched I was by such a kind gesture! Thank you all so much for your concern! I am home and feeling better, and hope we can visit your park again next winter ;)))We didn't get a chance to enjoy any of the amenities in the park, but friends gave us a tour and it looks like there is lots to keep you busy!

Too much gossipping. Canadians rule during winter. Management is not competent.

Has everything I need in a retirement park. Swimming pool, pool hall, card hall, and the friendliest staff and people. Close to groceries, pharmacy, and entertainment.

Average-looking RV park, reasonable prices, some nice spaces, some needed work.

Excellent Park. All made possible by the best management in the Rio Grande Valley.

Nice resort, a lot of anemities. The resort WI-FI was pretty lousy, so if you depend on WI-FI, it was disappointing. Pretty handy if you need to go ti Progreso, Mexico for dental work or hitting the shops.

My husband and I spent 15 years living here - in fact we were married in the park. It was such a friendly atmosphere and there were so many activities - you could do absolutely nothing or keep yourself active and young at heart. We still miss this wonderful park. I'm not sure why I hit for stars I guess because there was no four and a half. I never give anything five stars because no matter how great things are nothing is ever perfect.

This is a great community. I am having more fun in my sixties doing activities with good people than I have ever had. The RGV in Texas is real hidden gem. We call our place a winter cottage. The cost of living is very reasonable.

Trails End is a lovely gated RV community just the right size at the south end of Weslaco. You can hear the crickets at night not the busy street traffic. We have lovely residential size lots, lots of citrus trees (many folks share) and lot of green grass throughout the park, something we like to see in Winter. There are too many activities to mention. There are many park models to rent if you are looking for a winter place to call home. We are Canadians from Ontario and this is our 8th year as Winter Texans. We love the valley.

My husband and I have stayed at Trails End in our RV. We were fortunate to get a spacious interior paved lot c/w citrus and palm trees! The park is just the right size with many activities available including a new pickle ball court which we really enjoyed. Over the years we have noticed the turnover of older mobile homes being replaced with new mobiles which is having a positive impact in keeping the park up to date. With Tierra Santa Golf Course only approx. 1 mile away, it's a short drive to one of the top golf courses in the Rio Grande Valley! Great place to spend a winter!
